Atiku Abubakar and Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidates for the People's Democratic Party and the All Progressives Congress, respectively, did not receive any votes in the voting district for Mr. Peter Obi, the candidate for the Labour Party, LP.
Obi received 236 votes out of the 244 valid votes cast, according to the outcome announced by INEC officials at Amatutu ward two, polling unit 019.Despite having representatives, neither the PDP nor the APC received any votes in the region. After the results were announced, there was a great deal of celebration among voters in the center and several other centers. While celebrations erupted in the cities, many of Obi's supporters took to the streets. APGA presidential candidate Prof. Peter Umeadi, who is also from Anambra State, received three votes in Amatutu ward 2 in addition to one vote each from ADC, YPP, and AAC.
