The APC's presidential candidate Bola Tinubu, won President Muhammadu Buhari's voting district in Daura, Katsina State.
The polling unit which is located at Yara A Ward, Kofar Baru 003, Babban Tone Quarters, Daura, Katsina State. In Daura, Katsina State, Tinubu also won the voting unit of Hadi Sirika, the minister of aviation and Ahmed El Marzuq, the APC's national legal adviser.
Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 51 votes, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) polled 37,Tinubu polled 215 votes at President Buhari's unit. APC polled 184 votes, the PDP 51, and the NNPP 4. APC polled 236 votes for the House of Representatives, Pro 51and NNPP 4. The aviation minister cast his ballot at PU 011 Dubawa Gari, Sirika B, Dutsi local government, where Tinubu received 67 votes to Mr. Atiku's 29.
APC polled 67 votes in the Senate while PDP polled 35, just as APC polled 63 votes and PDP polled 42 in the House of Representatives election. Tinubu polled 127 votes, Atiku 68, and Kwankwaso 31 at El Marzuq's polling place in Kusugu Ward, PU 012, Daura LGA, Katsina State.
APC also won the elections for the National Assembly. PDP polled 58 and 42 for the two elections, the NNPP got five and eight, and the party polled 162 for the Senate and 180 for the House of Representatives.
