Ahmed Musa sets time on retirement

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has said he will end his international football career once the coach stop inviting him to the national team.

The Nigeria highest goal scorer at the FIFA World Cup told journalists at the Super Eagles presser that he is being invited because the team still need his experience and services.

According to him "In as much as I am being invited by the coach and my body can carry me, I will continue to play for Nigeria.

"The coach who invited knows better and as a patriotic Nigerian, I can't decline my national team invitation after so much sacrifice.

"I don't listen to those who are clamouring for my retirement. I remain focused on my career. Whoever is invited, people must talk, so, why should I listen to their comments.

The 30-year old has 107 caps for Super Eagles and has scored 16 goals since his debut in 2010. He is Nigeria highest goal scorer at the FIFA World Cup with four.
