Anthony Joshua has said he will retire from boxing if American boxer Jermaine Franklin beats him.
The next heavyweight boxing match between the duo will take place at the O2 Arena in Greenwich, London, on Saturday, April 1st.
Two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua wasscheduled to fight Tyson Fury, but it was not postponed due to sponsorship issues.
Joshua sees Saturday's fight as an opportunity to regain form after losing to Oleksandr Usyk in August 2022.
"If you lose, stop. "I'm not here to fight people. If people want me to retire, I'll retire. If people don't want me to, I won't fight..
"It's not even about the money. It's about your competitors. It's important," he said.
But Joshua clarified that Franklin should see Saturday's game as an opportunity to face him.
"Here's Jermaine Franklin, and he's about 28 pounds lighter than the Dillian White fight.
"He's got a six pack now and that's what happens when you fight Anthony Joshua. It's a chance for him (Franklin) to jump into the heavyweight world."
He added that despite the pressures of his career, he would enjoy and live his loving life before his retirement. "I know that when I retire, I will settle down.
"You're putting so much pressure on me that by the time I'm done, the chains will come loose. I laugh and love life," he said.
