The State Department indicted four terror suspects in the Chief Magistrate's Court in Issabo, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The suspects (Aliu Abubakar, Abubakar Usman, Abubakar Amadu, Adamu Aliu) were arrested on December 9, 2022.
The suspect was indicted Wednesday on terrorism and kidnapping charges in his MISC/15/2023 number lawsuit against the state against Aliu Abubakar and his three others.
Prosecutor Attorney Emmanuel Zamba told the court that DSS filed ex parte allegations in connection with the lawsuit on March 15.
He said the filing, which included a five-paragraph affidavit, sought a court order to keep the suspect in state prison.
Zamba said the alleged crimes violated sections 2 and 3 of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act 2022. He said: "I pray that an order will be issued by this honorable court to detain the defendant in the Nigerian Department of Corrections for 30 days until the case is decided."

However, she postponed the issue until April 17 due to further reports from her DSS.
