The Labor Party's Enugu branch has warned the Independent National Electoral Commission against manipulating the results of the gubernatorial and lower house elections.
The Communist Party said it would not accept reports of beatings or threats against agents at municipal payment centers and would not accept results that did not reflect the votes cast by voters on Saturday.
Party leader Casmir Agbo, who issued the warning in a statement released Sunday morning, said the party was concerned by widespread reports that results had been manipulated in local government comparison centers across the state. .
He said: "We are concerned about reports of manipulation of results in local governments across the state.
“LP opposes attempts to change the will of those declassified on March 18, 2023. “The LP therefore warns all parties concerned not to follow the rules, as any attempt to do so will be taken seriously by the committee.”
