Blessing Whitney, a 12-year-old student at Chrisland who passed away while competing in inter-house sports at the school, was electrocuted, according to her mother Adeniran.
On Wednesday, she announced it in an Instagram live broadcast.
"I want to thank everyone for their support, your calls and texts have helped us get through this extremely difficult period," she stated in the video.
"The results of the autopsy show that Desola was electrocuted. My daughter was electrocuted to death. During the past two weeks, I have experienced trauma. Tomorrow marks three weeks since my baby's death. I was made to believe I was crazy at school. They began promoting the idea that she was ill and ailing. They distributed papers and correspondence.
"They made fun of my family and Myself. My child died from electrocution. I informed the school that I don't want a fight. I only need responses. They arrived at my residence and took a knee.
"Mrs. Amao, please, I don't know how autopsy is being done, but I have browsed it and the sight is frightening," I implored, begged, and stated. Please don't make me put my daughter through that; she's already dead, and they'll butcher her. I implore you in the name of God and as a mother, please assist me in looking into what occurred.
"She stated that she is unsure. They declined to look into it.
For an autopsy, my daughter was butchered. She was let down. Her kidney, liver, stomach contents, blood, brain, and bone marrow were all partially taken. Omodesola was killed merely because Chrisland continued to uphold their image.
Prior to the autopsy, it was previously stated that Whitney's father, Dr. Michael Adeniran, also asserted that his daughter had died by electrocution.
