Six people were killed and two others injured to varying degrees in accidents in various parts of Ogun State on Friday and Saturday.
Our correspondent learned that the first accident occurred on the Lagos and Ibadan highways, claiming two lives and injuring two others.
It was also noted that his second accident occurred on Friday night in Rafenwa, the provincial capital Abeokuta.

Okupe further explained that her second accident in Rafenwa, Abeokuta on Friday night involved three vehicles.
A tank truck with registration number T 15321 LA, a BMW car stamped with TTD 421 CX, and his NISSAN SUV without a registration number.
The driver of the petrol-laden tanker lost control when attempting to turn at the Rafenwa roundabout.
The accident was caused by the tanker driver's speed and reckless driving. She said: "The tanker driver attempted to turn at the Rafenwa roundabout and was hit by two other vehicles.
"The driver then lost control and crashed into a building. The contents spilled, but no fire started.
"With the help of the fire brigade and other traffic controllers, the contents were quickly moved to another truck."
Four people died in this accident.
