Why I will not congratulate AbdulRazaq - Kwara PDP flagbearer

In the March 18 gubernatorial and parliamentary elections in Kwara, People's Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate Alhaji Shuaib Yaman said he would leave the outcome of the elections to God.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said on Sunday that the PDP's standard-bearer was All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate and incumbent Abdul Rahman, who came second in a poll that Governor Abdul Razak won. remember that

According to the INEC final results, APC got him 273,424 votes, PDP got 155,490 votes, and SDP got him 18,922 votes, putting him in third place.

Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of a series of meetings with his PDP members in Ilorin on Monday, Yaman said he would not congratulate Abdul Razak because the election was riddled with electoral errors. The PDP standard bearer also said he would leave the decision of whether to continue politics to himself for the time being.

However, Yaman has announced that he will return to Kaduna to face his own work.

“The fact that political thugs are being used is a concern among Nigerians, especially among our people and relevant stakeholders.

"Voter indifference in the last gubernatorial election was much greater than before, and the number of voters was higher than in the presidential election.

"And I think INEC also has questions to answer about the electoral process. “Security forces were used against the people, but I don't know if they were actually security forces used against the people while the APC was monetizing the election.

"Our joint proposal was dismissed in many places, not even on the results announced by INEC.

"One thing I know for sure is that the victory of evil is temporary, and the victory of Almighty God is permanent. We leave everything to God." He said. Yaman delivered an emotional and tearful address to party supporters, accusing some party members in some Senate constituencies of alleged treason and anti-party activities.

However, he urged PDP members and supporters across the state to remain hopeful and prayed that God would reward their goodwill with good rewards.

"The spirit that sustains us must live on. God will not repay your goodness for malice. We must rise from the evils of darkness. Don't be led by incompetent people or people who don't know what to do. One day our efforts will benefit us and our children.

“Kwara will rise again and our group will thrive. This is a moment to step back and reflect. It is not the end. Prepare for the battles to come. It's not over yet.

"It is true that all votes must be accounted for because they only hit the people for the election. These people have been silent about their plans for the people and the nation, but the people I'm just giving away money to buy ," he said.
