APC candidate for governor in Kaduna wants to expand opportunities for women

Senator Uba Sani, an APC candidate for governor in Kaduna State, has stated that women must have unrestricted access to opportunities for the country to make sustainable progress.

The lawmaker said a more inclusive and equitable society should include the culture of giving women seats at the decision-making tables in his message honoring International Women's Day on Thursday.
The senator acknowledged that his campaign platform took into account the needs of women. "We aim to empower women as significant players in the economy and governance through our SUSTAIN manifesto. We advocate for six months of paid maternity leave in the private sector and free prenatal care for expectant mothers," he said.
The legislator continued by saying, "We support women's participation in MSME businesses and pledge to increase funding for KADSWEF annually." In addition, the APC candidate praised women for their contributions to societal advancement and expressed his admiration for their unyielding efforts. "As we commemorate International Women's Day, allow me to take a moment to express how much I admire your extraordinary fortitude, fortitude, creativity, and unwavering resolve. Despite the difficulties and challenges you encounter every day, you keep shattering records and making history.
He continued, "Today, we join you in this celebration and urge policymakers around the globe to take bold actions to promote gender equality.
