The Meeting of Inter-Ministerial Advisory Committee on Election Security begins at INEC headquarters in Abuja today against the Gubernatorial and legislative elections scheduled for March 18.

INEC Chairman Professor Mahmoud Yakub pleads with political parties, candidates and their supporters to see election as a contest, not war and “refrain from acts of violence that may mar the elections or compromise the security of our personnel, observers , the media and service providers.”
