Taraba LP denies endorsing PDP governorship candidate

The Taraba branch of the Labor Party, on behalf of the party of People's Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate Col.

State party chairman Esther Grum said at a press conference in Jalingo on Sunday that Manlip's actions were a matter of pranks aimed at damaging the party's image in the state.

Evangelist Mulip, who challenged the party's gubernatorial challenge against LP's gubernatorial candidate, Senator Joel Ikenya, was noted at a news conference Wednesday for endorsing the PDP's gubernatorial candidate. But Grum said Manlip is not the party's candidate for governor and lacks the moral and legal right to represent the party and support anyone in the state.

"Our gubernatorial candidate is Senator Joel Ikenya, not Evan. Philip Mulip. We are not endorsing any candidate. We are still running." "Mlip's actions should be condemned and should be ignored by all. Manlip is desperate to tarnish the good image of our party and its candidates.

"I want to urge the good people of Taraba to ignore the alleged support and believe in and fully support the Labor Party taking over Taraba," she said.

In response, Ikeya, the state party's gubernatorial candidate, promised his people that he would move the state forward if elected next Saturday, urging people to vote massively for the LP in the state's interests. .
