Adeyemi, the senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, claimed during
an interview on Channels Television that Bola Tinubu had already won the 2023
presidential election because he had been preparing for over a decade.
According
to Adeyemi, Tinubu has built strong connections across Nigeria and invested in
people, making him the most trustworthy candidate to lead the country. As one
of Tinubu's products, Adeyemi claimed to know the truth behind the election
results, stating that Tinubu did not win the February polls but had won a long
time ago.
In his words; "I want to tell Nigerians the truth, Tinubu didn't win election in February, I'm one of his men. I speak my mind at any point in time. And let me tell you the truth, I hold the view that this election was free to a large extent and better than the previous election".
He described the 2023 elections as one of the best in the country and encouraged those who were upset about the outcome to try again next time. He emphasized that becoming the president of Nigeria requires years of building networks and relationships across every corner of the country, which Tinubu had done over the last few decades. Adeyemi insisted that Tinubu's victory at the polls was not surprising, given his extensive connections and investments in people.
Adeyemi's
remarks suggested that he was a staunch supporter of Tinubu and believed that
he was the best candidate for the presidency. He expressed his views openly,
stating that Tinubu's victory was not a matter of chance but a result of years
of hard work and dedication. Adeyemi urged Nigerians to recognize Tinubu's
contributions and trust him to lead the country to greater heights.
